My story with food and wine began in the kitchen, not the vineyard. Growing up in Venezuela and Mexico, I was surrounded by vibrant culinary traditions that celebrated community and creativity. My dad wasn’t a wine enthusiast at first; his passion was food. Together, we’d dive into a vast library of recipe books, experimenting with flavors and techniques. Those moments in the kitchen sparked my appreciation for gastronomy and taught me that every dish tells a story.

Fast forward to today, and that love of food has naturally evolved into a passion for wine. I’ve come to see wine not just as something to drink but as an essential part of the table—a complement to flavors and a bridge between cultures.

I share this passion with my wife, Carolina, who brings her own creativity and perspective to everything we do. Together, we’ve had the privilege of traveling to places like Italy and Mexico, discovering the stories behind local cuisines and wines. Our shared multicultural background shapes the way we explore the world, approaching every meal, every glass, with curiosity and respect for tradition.

This blog is my way of sharing what I’ve learned and continue to discover.
